Review : Adjustable but front lip is too high
As stated by another reviewer, this stand has other uses. I use one for my Lenovo 12" X201 Tablet PC; another to hold a couple calculators (the TI-Nspire CX CAS and Sharp EL-W516X fit nicely side by side); and another for an iPad.
In case it's not clear from Amazon's photo, what makes it adjustable is that the front lip slides in and out. For my laptop it is all the way out; for the calculators it's pushed all the way in.
One problem is that the front lip is so high that it interferes with the use of controls which are close to the front. In the case of the laptop these controls are the touchpad and the left click & right click buttons in front of the touchpad (fortunately the X201 has a duplicate set of mouse buttons on the rear side of the touchpad). In the case of the calculators it's the bottom row of keys. Rather than cutting the lip down, I made an insert which pushes the notebook/calculator away from the front lip by 1/2 inch.
